Cardiff Support Group
Abby and Jade are the support group leaders for the Endometriosis UK Cardiff support group.
Abby's Story: I was diagnosed with endometriosis in June 2010, following several years of symptoms. I was very happy to finally receive a diagnosis but that was only the beginning. Endometriosis UK & the Cardiff support group have helped me understand my treatment options and provided emotional support. I am now inspired to help others!
Jade's Story: I was diagnosed in 2015 after over 10 years of experiencing Endometriosis symptoms of varying degrees and several misdiagnoses. I became a support group leader to help raise awareness and offer support and guidance to others.
About the group: We try to arrange a variety of guest speakers to cover different topics. The group is a welcome mix of those w
ith endometriosis and others who may be effected by it (i.e. family & friends)
