Endometriosis UK launch new Diagnosis Survey

Endometriosis UK have today launched our new diagnosis survey to find out how long it currently takes to get a diagnosis of endometriosis in the UK, and to understand your experiences of diagnosis and access to treatment. We want to hear from anyone who has had a diagnosis, or who is going through the diagnosis process, or with suspected endometriosis.

We know that endometriosis care urgently needs to improve. Our previous diagnosis survey ran in 2023 and found that the current average diagnosis time is 8 years and 10 months in the UK, a statistic that must come down. Your voices are key to helping us provide accurate, up to date information about how long the diagnosis process currently takes across the UK, how that has changed over time, and any differences across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We will use this information in our lobbying and campaigning work to drive down diagnosis time and improve access to care. By sharing your experience, you will help us shout loudly for the changes that are needed.

The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Responses are completely anonymous, we are not asking for any personal or contact details that can identify you. This survey has been tested by patients and medical practitioners. If you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please contact us by emailing: admin@endometriosis-uk.org

Whether you’ve had a diagnosis, you’re currently going through the diagnosis process, or are experiencing symptoms, please add your voice today: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RZZ6L22
