World Childless Week 2024

World Childless Week is a week to recognise and raise awareness for the childless not by choice (cbnc) community. This takes place this year from 16th-22nd September.

We asked our community what they want others to know this World Childless Week. Here's what some of you had to say:

"It can feel like you are utterly, utterly alone. I promise you are not."

"People mean well, but casually being asked if I have kids is so hard."

"I love seeing your kids, but it's a lot and I sometimes have to say no"

"The hardest thing in the world is having that choice taken away from you"

"I am so scared it won't happen for me when it's something I want so badly"

More information, including support resources can be found at: worldchildlessweek.net

A note on endometriosis and fertility: While endometriosis does not necessarily cause infertility, there is an association with fertility problems, though the cause is not fully established. Further information is available here.

Support is available if you need it. If you need to speak to someone about your experience of endometriosis, please click here to access our support services.

Fertility Network UK provides services for those experiencing childlessness.
