Hi I'm Mia :) I have suffered with endometriosis since I was 15, experiencing symptoms that were getting progressively worse. After countless trips to GP practices and multiple consultants, I was diagnosed by laparoscopy in August 2022.

This condition can make people feel very lonely and misunderstood, that is why I volunteered to set up a new Support Group in Lancaster. I would like to create a space to bring people together to find support, to listen and understand each other, and lift the heavy weight off their shoulders.

I hope this sounds like a community you would like to join and help me build!

Looking for medical advice?

Please be aware that our support service are unable to provide medical advice and can only talk about endometriosis based on their own experience. If you need medical advice, please contact your GP or endometriosis specialist.
