My Story:

I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2004 and lived with symptoms for years before this.  In addition to using conventional treatments, I have worked with different techniques and therapies to find out what helps me best manage my symptoms.

I am volunteering with Endometriosis UK to help raise awareness and to support others living with the condition.  The support group is a safe space for those living with endometriosis to be heard, and connect with others who understand what they are going through.  Endometriosis affects every woman differently and I am passionate about empowering women to advocate for themselves and make their health a priority.

My Story:

Diagnosed aged 25, luckily, due to a huge cyst on my left ovary, my local support group was an absolute lifeline. Living with the disease, managing my life and condition for the last 17 years it is great to be able to give something back to a group that I got so much out of all those years ago. Having experienced surgeries, medical treatments along with complementary therapies and life style changes I hope our support sessions can help support those on their Endometriosis journey.
