Hi my name is Kathleen I have been suffering alone with endometriosis.. I have had two surgeries for endometriosis unfortunately they did not give me any pain relief so I had to have hysterectomy in April 2025. I wanted to give other women a place to come and feel supported. I met Michaela in hospital when I was getting my hysterectomy and she had undergone her first surgery we spoke a lot together about helping others so we did our training together in Cardiff with the endometriosis uk Charity and got our group up and running we hope to help other areas of Ireland, To set up Support group In the areas that need them and push for more to be done in Ireland for everyone suffering and supporting their loved ones three endometriosis.

Hi everyone, my name is Michaela and I am one of the support group leaders in Belfast. I have a diagnosis of endometriosis and had my first surgery last year after 15 years of fighting for support and to be heard.

Support for those affected by Endometriosis in Northern Ireland is non-existent and following on from our own endometriosis journeys myself and Kat decided to try and change that!

We look forward to welcoming you at our face to face and virtual sessions and hopefully creating a space where you can find community and feel safe and heard. If you have any questions please just get in touch!

Looking for medical advice?

Please be aware that our support service are unable to provide medical advice and can only talk about endometriosis based on their own experience. If you need medical advice, please contact your GP or endometriosis specialist.
