The Big Give is here: One donation, TWICE the impact

Our Big Campaign for 2025 launches today at 12 noon.

We are delighted to have been selected to take part in the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund once again for 2025. This means that any donation made to our appeal between the 8th – 15th October will be match funded, doubling the impact of every donation.

Here's how it works:

  • The Women and Girls Matched Fund opens at 12 noon on the Wednesday 8th October 2025 and will remain open until noon on Wednesday 15th October
  • Any donation made to our appeal, regardless of size, will be matched by the Big Give up to a total of £15,000. This means that this year, we have the opportunity to raise up to £30,000 in donations
  • All donations need to be made via the Big Give site to be matched. The link to the site can be found here.

That's double the donation, double the impact.

It currently takes on average nearly 9 years to receive a diagnosis of endometriosis in the UK. Endometriosis can have a significant impact on all aspects of life: education, career, relationships, fertility, and quality of life. Despite this, it is a disease that many people have never heard of. Without awareness, pain and symptoms can be dismissed and brushed aside as ‘normal’. Without a diagnosis, treatment cannot be accessed, and the disease may progress.

The focus of our Big Give campaign this year is our work to raise greater awareness of menstrual health and endometriosis and improve menstrual education in schools, colleges, and universities.

For too long, young people haven't had the education they need to empower them to make informed decisions about their health. And later, when presenting with symptoms with healthcare practitioners, many are not believed, are told their pain is normal, and go years without access to the right support and care. Earlier intervention can prevent the disease from progressing, supporting better health outcomes for those living with the disease and enabling them to reach their potential.

Endometriosis UK is dedicated to raising the voices of young people to ensure everyone gets access to the right education and the right care. Through our nurse led helpline, peer support services, and online information, we are here to support young people access reliable information and support. We also advocate for young people at every Government level, and have successfully campaigned for the introduction of mandatory menstrual health education in primary and secondary schools, but there is more to do to ensure this is correctly implemented.

What could my donation achieve?

Your donation could help us provide schools, colleges and universities with talks and resources to ensure every young person understands the symptoms of menstrual health conditions, including endometriosis, and how to seek help. It will also go towards our campaigning efforts to advocate for mandatory education of healthcare practitioners, so that everyone with endometriosis symptoms receives the care they need, when they need it.

If we get it right for young people, together we really can change lives and provide a better future for the next generation.
