Volunteers Week 2024

3rd - 9th June marks the 40th Anniversary of Volunteers Week, a week dedicated to celebrating the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK.

Volunteers truly are at the heart of all we do here at Endometriosis UK. Our support services, including helpline, web chat and support groups are all run by trained volunteers, all with lived experience of endometriosis who dedicate their time to support others living with the condition.

We'd like to thank all those who have volunteered their time in other ways too, be it as a Cheer Volunteer, an event volunteer, volunteering to share your story with media and more, your time and support makes a difference.

This Volunteers Week, Endometriosis UK's CEO Emma Cox would like to share this message:

"I'd like to say a really big thank you to our team of amazing volunteers who do so much across the organisation. We have volunteers running our support groups, our helpline, Health Unlocked and our web chat service. Our Trustees volunteer to run the charity, people volunteer to do media, the list goes on and on!

For anyone who has done any work to volunteer and support us, a big thank you, you couldn't do what we do without you. Volunteering is the absolute core of everything we do at the organisation and it's through our team of amazing volunteers that we get so much done. We couldn't do it without you, everyone is a part of the team. Happy Volunteers Week!"

Stay tuned for more updates throughout the week from some of our wonderful volunteers.

To those who have given their time to volunteer with Endometriosis UK, thank you.
