Update: PCOS and Endometriosis parliamentary research debate

Update on Endometriosis UK & Verity parliamentary research debate campaign

The parliamentary debate on research funding for endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which was due to take place on Monday 18 October, was postponed due to the tragic death of Sir David Amess MP. The debate will now take place on Monday 1 November 2021 at 4.30pm in Westminster Hall. Further information on the debate including how to watch it can be found here.

There was a brilliant response to the Endometriosis UK and Verity "Write to your MP" campaign. Over 5,500 of you contacted your MP and 99% of MPs received at least one email from a constituent asking them to attend the debate. We heard back from some MPs either to say they would attend the debate, or offering to help in other ways if they couldn't attend.

How you can help:

If you wrote to your MP and they responded showing interest and/or saying they planned to attend the debate, please consider sending them a brief email to ask if they are able to attend the rescheduled debate on 1 November.

If you have any questions or would like to share the response you received from your MP, please email us

Thanks for your continued support!
