Endometriosis UK welcome new employers to Endometriosis Friendly Employer Scheme

Endometriosis UK is delighted to announce the latest organisations to join our Endometriosis Friendly Employer (EFE) scheme:
  • TP (known as Teleperformance until a recent rebrand), a business process outsourcing firm with around 9,000 UK staff
  • York College, which has more than 7,000 students studying a range of courses

“Just knowing that you’ve got someone at work who has a baseline knowledge of the effects of endometriosis is great. It’s really personal and, knowing that you’re not having to go through that first step of educating someone on the condition and how it affects you, really helps.” - Eleanor - York College

  • Teach First, an education charity which finds and trains teachers, and develops school leadership teams

"Supporting menstrual health shouldn’t be taboo. It should be the norm. If your organisation isn’t already an Endometriosis Friendly Employer, I’d really encourage you to look into it. Small steps really can and do lead to big change." Jyoti - Teach First

  • Hertility, which provides diagnostic testing around reproductive health, fertility decline and the onset of menopause
  • Hidrostal, a manufacturer of pumps pumping systems, with sites in Bedford, Bristol and Leeds
  • Samphire Neuroscience, which makes brain-based medical devices to support the pain and mood symptoms associated with PMS, PMDD, period pain and endometriosis
  • Market Field School, a special school in Essex for pupils with moderate learning difficulties
  • FSP, a digital, security and AI consultancy

These employers have signalled their intention to improve support for those with endometriosis in their workforce, as well as breaking down taboos and stigmas around menstrual health.

As part of the scheme, the employers appoint Endometriosis Champions, who will receive training from Endometriosis UK, to enable them to provide support and information to colleagues.

Everyone at Endometriosis is delighted to welcome these employers to the diverse range of organisations which are tackling taboos around menstrual health and endometriosis through the Endometriosis Friendly Employer scheme.
