Endometriosis UK have received a Young Start award delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund to support youth engagement work in Scotland.
Heidi Yule, Director of Development at Endometriosis UK, said:
"We are delighted to have received a Young Start award from The National Lottery Community Fund, marking an exciting step forward for menstrual health education across Scotland.
"This funding will support the delivery of a youth-led programme of community engagement, events and digital content. Working alongside young people in and around Glasgow, we will co-produce resources, campaigns and activities -helping to improve the understanding of menstrual health conditions including endometriosis.
"We are grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for this award and are looking forward to sharing more about our youth engagement work as this exciting project develops."
This project is an important part of our work to improve resources, information, and support for all those affected by endometriosis across the UK at all stages of their life, as outlined in our 2025-2030 Strategy.
We look forward to sharing more on our youth engagement work as this project develops.
