Endometriosis UK Annual Report 2024-2025

Join us to take a look over an incredible year at Endometriosis UK – as we proudly share with you our latest Annual Report – which runs from 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025. In the report, you can read all about what we have achieved and our annual accounts.

In everything we deliver, those with endometriosis are at the heart. It’s been another great year for Endometriosis UK, which has seen us provide vital services for those affected by endometriosis, including the launch of a new Endometriosis Nurse Specialist Helpline, continued to fight for much needed change, and worked with employers to ensure those with endometriosis have the support they need to thrive in the workplace.

We couldn’t do what we do without our incredible volunteers, trustees, supporters, and fundraisers. It is only thanks to your efforts that we can continue to provide vital support services and drive much needed changes to improve the lives of those affected by endometriosis. From running our support services, to courageously sharing your story with the media and cheering on our fundraisers at events - however you support our work, you make a huge difference for all those affected by endometriosis. Thank you.

Highlights of the year include:

  • Launching our nurse-led helpline. In the first quarter, the support line supported over 300 people from the endometriosis community.
  • Launching our endometriosis symptom checker to help those with suspected endometriosis have better discussion with their GPs, access appropriate referrals and support, and support diagnosis.
  • Strengthening our relationships with decision makers and health systems in all four nations, helping drive up care standards. This has included sitting on the NICE Committee for the NICE Guideline on Endometriosis partial review and contributing to key changes of the Guideline that were published in November 2024.
  • Our Menstrual Wellbeing in the Workplace project, funded by the Department for Health and Social care, came to a close. This project saw us run webinars, and provide bespoke training and resources for small and medium employers.
  • There are now over 140 employers that are part of the Endometriosis Friendly Employer Scheme, and we continue to campaign for Governments to introduce key changes to improve HR legislation, as well as working to ensure those who are unable to work don’t face unfair discriminative practices due to their endometriosis.
  • Our incredible volunteers held 268 Support Group meetings, 562 web chat conversations, and received 3,295 calls to our volunteer helpline.
