Become a Facebook Moderator

Endometriosis UK Facebook Moderators offers those with endometriosis a safe space to explore their feelings and experiences.

The Facebook group is an important part of the charity's ability to provide information and support, a sense of belonging and community to those with endometriosis all over the country.

Moderators have lived experience of endometriosis and ensure the Facebook group is a safe and welcoming space for all. Moderators cannot offer advice of any kind, be it medical, financial or legal.  Facebook Moderators offer 2-3 hours of their own time each week. In return they can expect to receive good quality induction training and can access ongoing training and support to help them in their role.

When signing up to become a volunteer we ask that you can commit to a minimum 6 month period.

We only accept applications from individuals with suspected or diagnosed endometriosis across our Support Services

If you're interested in this role, please read the role description here. When volunteer applications are open, you'll find training dates and a form to register your interest here.

We encourage interest and applications from those who identify as LGBTQIA+, those from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic communities, experiencing childlessness by choice and not by choice. We want to increase representation of these communities among our volunteer and service users.
