We are excited to be returning to Pride for a third year. We are looking for information stand volunteers and parade volunteers to join us. You will be raising awareness of endometriosis and Endometriosis UK within LGBTQIA+ communities. This is an integral part of ensuring everyone with endometriosis has access to support as part of our mission.
You can volunteer by yourself, or with friends, family or colleagues... the more the merrier!

Dates and Locations
We are hoping to be at:
- Glasgow Pride – Date TBC
- Wrexham Pride – Date TBC
- Belfast Pride – Date TBC
- Sheffield Pride – Sat 20th June
- London Pride – Date TBC

What will you be doing?
- Host an information stand
- Engage the public with conversation and fun activities highlighting our support and information offer
- Communicate and empathise with people who have different identities, backgrounds and life experiences.
- Take photos and videos to share on our social media channels
- Escalate issues to present staff member, if needed
- Provide Endometriosis UK with event and volunteer experience feedback
- Act in line with our Volunteer policies and Code of Conduct
What is required for this role?
No special qualifications are needed for this role. You will need to be:
- In support of Endometriosis UK’s mission and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Confident speaking with the public
- Comfortable in loud and crowded areas
- Able to communicate and empathise with others who have different identities, backgrounds and life experiences
- Aged 16 or over, and have photo ID
We value diversity. Research shows that people from marginalised communities are more likely to experience poor healthcare. They are also underrepresented within the endometriosis community and our pool of volunteers. We encourage applications from people from marginalised communities, including people who are LGBTQIA+ and from ethnic minorities.

Training and expenses
You will receive a Volunteer Pack, FAQs and a briefing meeting (Date TBC), ensuring you have the necessary knowledge and skills for your role. There will be Endometriosis UK staff leading as well as Pride event staff on hand. For some events, travel expenses up to £100, directly related to the event, will be covered. Other expenses will be covered in alignment within our expenses policy
