In this talk we discuss the ESPriT2 trial which seeks to generate data that will compare outcomes for surgery using excision or ablation. At the moment there is not enough high-quality research on the use of excision versus ablation for surgical removal of endometriosis. We hope the results of this trial can provide information needed to help those decide the best treatment for them.
