Supporting fertility education, awareness and support across Wales
Fertility in Wales is a project funded by The National Lottery Community Fund Wales. The project aims to improve fertility education, awareness and support for people across Wales.
Through education, information, professional engagement, and peer support, the project works to help people in Wales better understand their fertility health and access the support they need.

What we do
The Fertility in Wales project focuses on four key areas:
Supporting healthcare professionals
We work with GPs and other healthcare professionals to develop resources that help people access information and support while waiting for access to fertility services.
Peer support
We provide opportunities for people affected by fertility challenges to connect with others, access information, and find support through groups and events.
Support Group
Our Fertility in Wales online support group and Facebook support group provides a safe and supportive online space for people affected by fertility challenges.
The group offers an opportunity to connect with others who may have similar experiences, share information and experiences, and access peer support in a safe and respectful environment.
Who can join?
The group is open to those who are living in Wales and experiencing fertility challenges, undergoing fertility treatment, considering fertility preservation, and others affected by fertility issues.

Once you have joined, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive place for discussion, as well as information about upcoming events, and what to expect.
Online support group sessions take place via Zoom on the last Sunday of each month at 7:30pm. Please join the Facebook group below, or get in touch directly for the link.
About the project
Fertility in Wales is a four-year programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund Wales.
The project was originally established under Fertility Network UK and transferred to Endometriosis UK in 2026 following the charity's closure. Endometriosis UK is committed to continuing and developing this important work to ensure people across Wales can access fertility information, education and support.
