One to One Support Service Volunteer
Our One to One Support Service aims to provide focused, individual support for women who are experiencing specific issues with endometriosis. The service is aimed at women who would benefit from one to one support to help them address specific issues. The service enables individuals to make the right decisions for them through imparting information and empowering them to make choices. It is particularly useful when people are struggling to make their views and wishes heard on particular matters.
What is the role of the One to One Volunteer?
Service volunteers will provide one to one support to women effected by endometriosis on a range of issues including difficulties in the workplace; communicating with health professionals; access to benefits; relationships and mental health. Service volunteers will work with clients for around 6 – 8 weeks to offer tailored support and guidance. The relationship is conducted over the phone and email.
