NICE is recruiting patients, carers and other lay members

NICE is updating part of its guideline on Fertility – specifically looking at uterine insemination (IUI)

NICE is currently recruiting patients, carers and other lay members to the committee which will be updating part of the published NICE guideline on Fertility: assessment and treatment for people with fertility problems.

The partial update will specifically look at how well uterine insemination (IUI) works for people with unexplained fertility (which is where standard infertility testing has not found a cause for a failure to get pregnant), or for people who have either mild endometriosis or a low sperm count or poor-quality sperm.

Here is the recruitment advert, with details of what membership involves and how to apply. The NICE website also has details about how this update will be carried out here.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Monday 7 September 2015.
