Here are our new Vice-Chair’s thoughts on the role:
What does being Vice-Chair entail?
Principally assisting our Board of Trustees Chair, Angela Style, and deputising for her at meetings or events that she is unable to attend.
What drew you to the role?
I viewed it as a huge opportunity and privilege to further support the fantastic Board of Trustees of Endometriosis UK, and of course the wider team in the office. I was especially drawn to the role as I know I can learn a tremendous amount from the excellent leadership of our Chair, Angela Style.
What are your ambitions for Endometriosis UK?
To become as well-known, and respected, as other healthcare charities such as Diabetes UK. For the charity to grow and continue doing all it’s wonderful work, which includes supporting sufferers, and for the condition to become more widely known and understood amongst the general public.
