Lincoln Support Group
Jody is the support group leader and local contact for the Lincoln (and surrounding areas) Endometriosis UK group.
My Story: I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2005, after suffering for over 7 year with symptoms before I was diagnosed. At first I struggled to understand the condition and felt very isolated. I joined the closest Support Group which was Sheffield, I have made some great friends and I pleased to be able to offer a support group in Lincolnshire.
About the Support Group: The support group is a place where we can find information, friendship, support and understanding with women in similar situations. There will be a mixture of speakers and informal groups. I also hope to promote fundraising and awareness in the community.
Living with endometriosis can be painful and lonely, the friendship and understanding of others in the same situation can really make the dark days brighter. I look forward to meeting you.
If you are interested in joining the Lincoln Support Group or finding out more information, fill out our local group enquiry form.
Please note: if you have not heard back from the support group since sending your enquiry and are interested in an upcoming meeting, do feel free to come along!
