Leicester Support Group

About this group

For the past 6 years, our support group has been a safe space for those with Endometriosis to connect, share experiences, and receive support.

Endometriosis is a chronic and often devastating condition that affects millions of individuals worldwide. Our group offers a place for those who struggle with endometriosis to come together in a non-judgmental environment and find understanding and comfort from others who have gone through similar experiences.

By joining our support group, you can connect with others who understand the challenges of living with endometriosis. Our members offer empathy, advice, and encouragement, as well as opportunities for education, guidance, and empowerment.

Whether you are seeking a listening ear, advice on coping strategies, support through treatment, or just want to connect with others who share similar experiences, our group is here for you.

Join us and discover the power of a supportive community that truly understands and cares about you.

Sunaina

Hi there! My name is Sunaina, and I've been running the support group in Leicester for Endometriosis UK for the past six years.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis just before turning 30, and have since experienced multiple challenging health issues, including several miscarriages.

Through my journey, I have come to realise the importance of advocating for myself and taking an active role in my health.

I strongly believe that knowledge is key, and I'm committed to raising awareness about endometriosis and the impact it can have on our lives.

By supporting Endometriosis UK, I hope to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this condition and to promote the importance of self-advocacy and being informed when it comes to our health.
