South-East London Group

My name is Shenay (pronounced sheni) and I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis after many years of severe pain and suffering. I have become involved in Endometrioisis UK, and I now run a local group in South-East London, I am based in SE23.

We meet informally but also invite speakers, for example: a local Consultant Gynaecologist, pain management, homeopathy, nutrition, drug treatment. I will also be arranging some fund raising events.

In addition I plan to spread awareness about endometriosis so those of you who are not yet diagnosed may be reached!

If you were like me and had never heard of endometriosis then I am sure you will find this a very good opportunity to find out more about it and what you can do to live with this condition. Friends and family are all welcome at meetings unless there are sensitive items on the agenda, but you will know this in advance of these meetings.

Please check prior to bringing partners or friends to meetings as this will change for different meetings depending on the topic.

I would very much like to hear from you if you are interested in joining my group.

I am really looking forward to meeting you all.
