South-East London Group

My name is Charmaine and I run the Endometriosis UK support group in South East London.

My group will provide support for everyone, whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with endometriosis for years.

I have been diagnosed with endometriosis for over 20 years and during that time have undergone many different surgical and medical treatments. I know how frightening and lonely it can sometimes feel, so I am hoping that the group will go some way in helping to alleviate  some of these feelings.

I will also be arranging for qualified speakers to come in and advise on different topics, ranging from pain management and surgical / medical options to alternative therapies such as reflexology and diet and lifestyle and any other topics which we feel as a group would be of interest to us.

Next meeting: Thurs 28th July, 7pm - 8.30pm : THIS MEETING HAS BEEN REARRANGED and will now take place on: 15th September, 7pm - 8.30pm

Justine Evans, a nutritionist and endometriosis fertility expert will be coming along to talk on the benefits of nutrition and how to optimise the chances of conceiving.

Venue: The Lewisham Young Women's Resource Project, 308 Brownhill Road, Catford, London SE6 1AU
