Huntington
Group
Hi, my name is Helen, I am 43 and was diagnosed with endometriosis 10 years ago after emergency surgery for a torn ovary. That and subsequent experiences have taught me that, during what’s often an emotionally and physically painful journey, access to support is extremely important in reducing the isolation felt by the sufferer as well as their family, friends and work colleagues.
I wanted to give something back to others and seized the chance to set up this group whilst I am currently going through a relatively ‘stable’ period.
As joining a group can be nerve-wracking for some people, new members can contact me beforehand so we can find out a bit more about each other and I can answer any questions you may have.

Whilst I am definitely not an expert on the subject, I hope this group will be able to provide you with a local source of support and first-hand access to the latest information which may help you manage your life for the better. And if we make new friends and have a little fun along the way then so much the better!
The only downside is that I am still trying to find a free venue which is open weekday evenings until 9.30pm to hold our meetings, to allow time for those working or travelling any distance to attend.
If you would like to join our group, just need some verbal support or would be able to help with a venue, please contact me on the link below.
In the meantime, take good care and remember you are not alone!
Best wishes
Helen
