West Somerset, Taunton & Bridgwater
Group
My name is Jenny and I am the group leader and local contact in Somerset. Endo can make you feel alone and lost, angry and frustrated; as I have experienced all of these emotions myself, I wanted to share my experiences of coping with others.
I have suffered with endometriosis for nearly fifteen years, tried many treatments and had several surgical procedures. I have been a volunteer with Endometriosis UK since 2004 and enjoy being involved in raising awareness and have taken part in quite a few fundraising events over the years.
My group provides support, information and understanding for those with endometriosis and their families so whether you've just been diagnosed or have been living with endometriosis for years, coming along to my group is an opportunity to meet others living with endometriosis and allows the opportunity to share experiences, raise awareness and find out more about the condition and the important fact of knowing you aren’t alone!
