Nottingham

Hi I’m Karen, the Group leader for the Nottingham Endometriosis UK, support group. I’m 36 and have lived in Nottingham since 1998, after moving from Kent. I was diagnosed with endometriosis approximately 5 years ago, following a period of illness and an operation where I had a large chocolate cyst and endometrioma removed. I had another operation in 2010, to remove more endo. I understand how this chronic condition can effect people socially and emotionally.

Nottingham Group Leader, Karen

The support group exists in order to provide support, information and understanding for those with endometriosis and their families. Whether you've just been diagnosed or have been living with endometriosis for years, these meetings will be an opportunity to meet others living with endometriosis, to share experiences and to raise awareness together.

It's important to know that you are not alone and I look forward to meeting you.
