Ashford, Staines & Chertsey Group

My name is Justine and I warmly welcome you to the Ashford Endometriosis UK group.

We will meet every other month to hold relaxed meetings as well as inviting speakers from the fields of gynaecology, fertility and alternative therapy (amongst others) to cover all aspects of endometriosis.  We will also have informal discussions on pain management, diet and surgery and enjoy fun “pamper” evenings to help raise funds for the charity.

Please come along and join us, or if you would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Justine

The next meeting is at 7.45pm on 27th November
Venue:
The Education Centre, 1st Floor, Ashford Hospital, London Road, Ashford, Middlesex, TW15 3AA

I am delighted to announce that our guest speaker will be Mr. Saikat Banerjee, BSc (Hons), MRCOG, Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician

Saikat has already been actively involved in our group.  I am most grateful to him for arranging our venue at no cost and providing me with contacts for guest speakers.  Without his support and positive input I would not have been able to set up the group.

Mr. Saikat Banerjee is a local gynaecologist who is a recognised national expert in Minimal Access (“Key Hole”) surgery and also has extensive experience in gynaecological ultrasound which he can apply in the management of various gynaecological problems.  He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Surrey and his particular areas of research include endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain.  He has presented and is an invited speaker at various national and international conferences.
