Tell your story
National and local media are always looking for real-life stories. If you want to tell your story to your local paper do consider the following points:
- Try to contact the editor if possible, either by phone or writing a letter to the editor for the letters pages
- Tell them your story, e.g. about a local event you may be running/involved with and ask them to cover it
- Send or give them Endometriosis UK’s details and some relevant endometriosis facts
We are often contacted by the national press seeking case stories for articles. If you are happy to tell your story in a national newspaper, magazine, TV or radio, download and complete the media form and email it to info@endometriosis-uk.org. We can then contact relevant media to see if they would be interested in using your story. Even if it is not taken up immediately, we receive media requests throughout the year and it might be possible to use it at another time. |
