Extreme! > The BIG Jump

Take a giant leap for women with endometriosis!

Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below.

Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph!

Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles come down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below.

Now stop imagining as you could be doing all of the above in aid of Endometriosis UK.

Why not join one of our special Endometriosis UK BIG Jump days when you can jump with a team of our fundraisers or with over 20 airfields to choose from, you will be sure to find a date and location which is suitable to you.

NEXT DATE CONFIRMED!
Our next BIG Jump event will take place on Sunday 5th June at Brackley air field.

If you fancy throwing yourself out of a plane in aid of Endometriosis UK, then contact Becs on fundraising@endometriosis-uk.org for more information or sign up here now.

“The instructors were fantastic and really helped to make the experience. They knew how to put you at ease and made it fun. I had never done anything like this before - I don't even like going on roller coasters! But the jump was a fantastic experience. It was exhilarating floating down to earth when the parachute finally opened. I would really like to thank you for your support over the past few months, it’s appreciated.”

“I decided to do the BIG jump to raise awareness of endo as it is surprising how common it is yet most people I talk to have no idea what it is. I was only diagnosed last year at the age of 20 and the past year has been a huge struggle both physically and emotionally. Doing this jump has definitely raised not only £577 but most importantly a huge amount of awareness. The jump was absolutely amazing – a complete thrill – I have thoroughly enjoyed ‘flying the flag’ for endometriosis. Woo hoo!!”

“The jump was amazing, I thought I would be scared but it was awesome! The instructors put you completely at ease and make it fun and exciting. I would recommend it to everyone and it is a great way to raise money for a great charity.”
