Re-vision: a celebration of re-creating, of seeing with new eyes

Paintings sold in aid of Endometriosis UK
I am an accountant on the board of Endometriosis UK and have set myself the challenge of raising at least £25,000 for this small charity which does a lot of work with very little resource. 100% of proceeds from the sale of my paintings will go to Endometriosis UK.
I started my £25,000 fundraising challenge in 2009 – a team of extremely dedicated people joined me in the 3 Peaks challenge in pink pants in August 2009. This raised over £12,000. There is still £13,000 to go! We are also doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in May 2010 – click here for more details.
Painting has been a personal ambition of mine. I trained as a journalist whilst studying English literature, but later decided to become an accountant. I have always held the belief that we can re-create ourselves and are only limited by our imagination – sometimes we need to do things that challenge us and take us beyond what we already are. I always paint from nature, because it inspires me. Painting has helped me deal with the pain of endometriosis and has been a great joy during difficult times.
If you are interested in buying any of my work, please contact Endometriosis UK on fundraising@endometriosis-uk.org. During April 2010, my work will be displayed at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.
