Gift Aid

Increase the value of your donation without any cost to you!

Endometriosis UK can reclaim tax on all individual donations under the Inland Revenue's GiftAid scheme. If you're a UK taxpayer you can increase the value of your individual donations by 28% - and it doesn't cost you anything!

For your donation to qualify for Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer and confirm that that you are paying an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that Endometriosis UK will reclaim on your donations in the tax year

How does GiftAid work?

GiftAid is one of the easiest and most effective ways of giving to Endometriosis UK. It can be used on donations of any amount, large or small, by cash, cheque, postal order, direct debit, standing order, debit or credit card or even foreign currency (including the Euro). To set this up, you simply have to give Endometriosis UK express permission to GiftAid your donations and that's it - we'll do the rest.

To do this, you can either:

Send us the GiftAid form with your donation to:
Endometriosis UK, 50 Westminster Palace Gardens, Artillery Row, London SW1P 1RR

When making an online donation, tick the GiftAid box on the online form.

Once you've given us permission, it can be applied to all of the past donations you've made (since April 2000) and to all future contributions you make.

How do I qualify for GiftAid?

As long as you pay as much tax (income and/or capital gains) as Endometriosis UK will be reclaiming on your donations in the same financial year, you are entitled to use GiftAid. For example, if you wish to GiftAid charitable donations that total £100 in one year, you will need to have paid at least £28 in tax that tax year. What's more, if you are a higher rate taxpayer looking to reclaim tax from your donation, all you have to do is remember to include details of your charitable gifts on your tax form
