Yorkshire 3 Peaks in pink pants!
7th – 9th May 2010

Carol Pearson, our Treasurer, completed her National 3 Peaks challenge in August she and her team raised over £12,000! But she doesn’t want to stop there....

"My treasurer’s challenge was to raise £25,000 so the pink pants still have work to do! The next exciting pink pants challenge, which is going to be the beautiful Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge. This is a 12 hour trek through the incredible Yorkshire Dales (my lovely home territory). I can hardly wait!
Please come and join the team and wear the pink pants to raise awareness of endometriosis! It is still hard to believe that so many people have not heard of this common condition that affects the lives of so many women.
Join me and let’s change this situation – it’s just not right. Women deserve much better." |
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge is a 12 hour trek through some of the UK’s most wild and beautiful scenery. The 39km route takes in the peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y- Ghent; in total over 1700m of ascent.

You need to be fit and able for this challenge, it is an endurance event but with training leading up to the event most people are capable of completing it.
