36 hours! Wearing pink knickers!

Mon 17th Aug: the real pink pants are packed and ready to go!

As I write my final blog entry before the event (yikes!! Am I really ready for this?), I would like to take the opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU firstly to the amazing team who have committed to do this challenge – you’re a very special bunch of people indeed. Yes we all have fears about it but we are going to tackle this together and ensure we win through. This will not be easy - there will be highs and lows I am sure – but together we can do it!

Secondly, thank you to the fantastic people who are supporting us through this, who have kindly sponsored us and sent wonderful messages encouraging us on. You have made such a difference! When we are struggling on the rugged paths of these mountains, your messages will be a constant source of encouragement. Thank you for believing we can do this and for making a difference to the lives of women with this difficult condition.

Finally, a special thank you to our amazing ladies at Endometriosis UK – in particular to Rachel, for organising everything, including the lovely pants! We shall wear our pink knickers with pride!
